Our company primarily two brands of paint. We use either Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paint unless our client would prefer to use their own paint. We recommend Benjamin Moore because they use only the highest quality materials and comply with the strictest environmental standards in the world. This means your paint will be more durable, look great for longer, and be safe for you and your family. We also use Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. SuperPaint has a specialized design, consisting of acrylic latex. This offers a rich finish, regardless of the surface that it is painted on. This is a very high performing Low VOC paint. It performs remarkably well and protects against the elements. It’s as reliable a paint as any on the market. Whether it’s cold and frosty or hot and humid, this formula goes on smooth and resists fading and peeling. It is our preferred exterior choice of paint. Other inferior types of paint have issues with losing their color, chip, or can’t even hold up to a thorough scrubbing.

Our painters use only the highest quality brushes. Better brushes provide better paint jobs because they’re made specifically for smooth application, precision, and control. All too often you will see companies trying to reduce their costs by buying cheaper tools, in the end it’s the client who suffers. The brushes we use are made by Purdy which are all hand made brushes made with Alderwood handles, which actually absorb hand sweat so that our professionals can maintain a firm grasp and control of the brush. Low-quality brushes simply aren’t made with our clients specific tasks in mind. We prefer Purdy because they offer a wide range of brushes from those made to hold more paint like Purdy Pro Extra Glide to Chinex brushes, which are made to work with Low VOC and heavy bodied paints. We prefer using them due to the versatility they provide, this means more options when it comes to handle size and shape, brush size and material, so we can find one that’s not only designed to fit your project but provides our painters with a perfect painting experience and end result.
Selecting a painting tape is more important than one may think. This is another area where many companies try to cut costs. At Professional Finish Painters we believe in only the best for our clients, that’s why we use Frog Tape. It is a masking tape treated with Paint Block Technology. Paint Block is an absorbent polymer that instantly gels when a water-based paint is applied. This technology forms a seal at the edges of the Frog Tape to prevent paint from bleeding under the tape. When the tape is removed an incredibly crisp, sharp and clean edge is left on the painted surface. With careful application from our professionals, touch-ups are eliminated. It is a product that costs twice as much as other tapes, but as our clients can attest, it is certainly worth it for the immaculate results it produces.
